Downsizing in 2025
We want to say a special thank you to the wonderful guests we've had the joy of sharing The Neuadd with over the past 13 years. Many of you will be wondering about the changes we have made in October 2025. This page is to help provide a bit of back ground.

We have taken the momentous decision to close Valley View Cottage, Oaktree Cottage, Sugarloaf Cottage, Usk Apartment and Loft Suite.
Trelawney Cottage remains along with Courtyard Suite and Vinetree Suite. Availability in the B&B Suites will be a bit patchy over this winter but will return to normal from April. Keep an eye open for availability!
Why the Change?
Welsh Government "second homes" legislation has changed the landscape for holiday rentals in recent years. Running one or two cottages as a secondary income or property investment can still make sense, but unfortunately many clusters of properties like The Neuadd are no longer viable as a livelihood.

We have therefore decided to move closer to retirement. We know others across Wales doing the same.

We are excited by our new freedom and look forward to welcoming guests to Trelawney and our B&B Suites.
